Sleeping Time
When fostering a rescue dog it is important to make sure that they are comfortable when they sleep! Why? When the dog and you don't get a good sleep it is not good! The first night we had Angus things were not the best as far as getting a good sleep goes! We were up at 5:30am and didn't get to sleep till about 11:30pm! We had him in a 4ft pen on my bedroom floor. Oh one other thing don't let the dog sleep with you...for 2 reasons.
- When the dog goes to it's forever home the people might not what the dog on the bed with them. Which means they will have to train the dog not to come up on the bed with them. They are just better off in a crate or in their own bed!
The second night was the same but the third night was amazing! We got him a crate to sleep in. All we have to say now is "Bedtime Angus go get your monkey" and he goes right in!
